Why we take photographs and videos

We may photograph and film the event for use on our website, social media, digital advertising and other promotional materials.

Our lawful basis

We rely on our legitimate interests in promoting Kavee for general event photography and background footage.

We will ask for your consent before deliberately featuring you in close-up promotional photography, interviews or videos. We will ask a parent or guardian for permission before deliberately featuring children.

Who may receive your images

Images may be shared with our appointed photographer or videographer, marketing service providers and social media platforms. Published content may be seen by the public.

Some of these providers are based outside the UK, including in the United States. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK-US Data Bridge.

How long we keep images

We keep photographs and videos for as long as reasonably necessary for our marketing purposes, and review them at least once a year. We keep records of consent for as long as we use the related content.

Your choices and rights

If you prefer not to be photographed or filmed, please tell a member of our team.

You can contact us to request access to your personal data, object to our use of it, withdraw consent where you gave it, or ask us to delete it, subject to applicable legal requirements.

We will remove content from our own channels where reasonably possible. We may not be able to retrieve copies already shared by others, or printed materials already distributed.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
