WARNINGS
Most animals will not chew the coroplast sheet. However, if this happens, you must immediately prevent this behaviour by covering the edge of the coroplast sheet, using our nibble guards or a cloth, cardboard or binding stick. Some animals sometimes need a little time to adapt to their new habitat and lose this bad habit after a while.
Frequently Asked Questions
What happens if guinea pigs eat Coroplast sheets?
Most piggies won’t feel the need to chew at their coroplast sheets; however, if it’s a new feature in their cage, curiosity can happen. Discourage chewing by covering the edges with something like nibble guards.
What bedding is best for guinea pig cages?
Our coroplast sheeting is ideal for guinea pig cages as it keeps the base of the cage nice and stable for little piggy toes, won’t get soggy, and is easy to clean. When combined with fleece liners, your piggies will have cosy, dry toes—which keeps them hygienic and happy.
What should I line a C&C cage with?
Your C&C cage needs a good liner, such as coroplast sheets. Imagine little piggy toes falling through the grids-no thank you! Coroplast sheets are super stable and provide the best kind of base for your guinea pigs’ cage.
This depends on the size of your cage, you want to ensure the entire base is covered. Coroplast bases come in a variety of sizes so you can find the one that’s perfect for your piggies.
Love the colour, and how easy it was to fit inside our grids - ours are a little difficult as the end grids have to overlap slightly. Being lower than our previous base means we're now able to see our guinea pigs easily whilst we're sitting down, the guineas seem to like this as well.
The correx arrived quickly and was well packaged. It slotted together easily at the corners. As it came with two pieces I was able to cut a smaller piece to put in an extra bit of cage. Now just waiting on adding two New Guinea Pigs.!
I absolutely luv this lilac colour, it's exactly as it's shown on the website, it's also soft enough to be pliable but strong enough to remain in place! I'm so happy I chose this.
Really useful, and great value for money. The liner is great quality and really durable my bunny loves it! Saves a lot of money on training pads and other temporary solutions 😅
I always got the trays from here. I've never had a issues. The rabbits and guinea pigs love the trays and they last a long time.
Order came quick and trays easy to assemble.
I ordered my coroplast sheets on the 25th of November. Have already emailed Kavee team to find out where it has gone and no help has come from that. They keep saying that they are investigating but it’s now nearly been 2 months since my order. I’m out of pocket, my lovely pigs desperately need an upgrade. Very disappointing, will not order from here again.
Over-priced but I was stuck and needed a new base. The product is fine, delivery time good. Just very expensive for what it is. They offer you a discount code if you enter your email address, but only after you sign up do they say you only get the discount if you spend over £70, so felt a bit tricked by that.

Hi Alistair Gunn,
Thanks for providing this feedback.
I'm sorry to hear you are still yet to receive your order..
In this case, please can you reach out to us at help@kavee.com and we will be happy to investigate this for you.
Kind regards,
The Kavee Team
They looked great and work in terms of creating a solid waterproof base, but they're difficult to fold and clip into place and seem to be extremely tasty for my pigs, even one girl who doesn't chew anything that isn't hay! I find it a bit ridiculous the chew guards are sold separately knowing fine well pigs will chew them! I've had to cover them with an extra large fleece that I chopped into strips as I'm afraid the guards won't be sufficient to stop the chewing.
