If there’s one thing piggies and bunnies have in common is their mutual love for nibbling on things! While nibbling on their toys can make a great pastime for your floofs, it’s not so good when the victim is their shiny new coroplast sheet.

Don’t panic, though, it’s completely normal for your pigs and buns to want to try and have a taste of their brand-new correx sheet. That’s why we recommend you keep a nibble guard at hand and place it on an area of the coroplast base as soon as you notice any nibbling. But be reassured, the material is non-toxic and indigestible!

That should fade over time, but if it persists then keep in mind that this could also be a sign of boredom, hunger, and a call for attention. In this case, distracting them and finding ways to entertain them by keeping them company or giving them chewing toys is important to prevent future nibbling from happening again.

Please note that some nibble guards are automatically included when you buy any rabbit or guinea pig cages that include a loft and ramp!
