If we could have it our way, guinea pigs would always be happy and healthy. Sadly, sometimes guinea pigs get sick and require medical attention from a trained cavy savvy vet. We have heard all too often that guinea pig owners regularly struggle to find a vet that has the knowledge, skills and confidence to treat small pets. At Kavee, we wanted to help you out! That’s how the UK Guinea Pig Vet Map was born: a free resource for all guinea pig owners to use.

HOW DID WE CREATE THIS MAP OF RECOMMENDED GUINEA PIG VETS?

On July 31st 2021, we created a post on our Instagram page asking our community of guinea pig owners to submit their cavy savvy vets recommendations. We asked and you responded! With the community’s help, we have now created a map of vets across the UK for everyone to reference.

Yes! This is a dynamic resource that we encourage everyone to continue to contribute to. If you know of a vet that treats guinea pigs and they aren't listed, we want to hear from YOU! Simply get in contact with our team and we’ll update our maps.
