Give your piggies more room to explore with a sturdy coroplast ramp and loft for guinea pig cages. These are designed to be thick, long-lasting, and prevent injury with soft edges and a ramp that’s not too steep. This way, you can let your floofs explore freely without the danger of them falling down or escaping from their cage!
In fact, the ramp is designed to be fitted at half-height of the cage to allow guinea pigs to easily use it, since a steeper ramp would intimidate most guinea pigs.
Our coroplast bases are made from thick correx and pet pawrents will be happy to know that they’re super easy to assemble, as they come pre-cut and only require you to lock them in together. No glue, tape or scissors needed!
Overall, coroplast is the best material for a ramp and loft as it allows them to move around comfortably and can prevent bumblefoot (a condition that can be caused by uncomfortable flooring!).
Get creative by choosing your favourite colour of coroplast and match the guinea pig ramp and loft with a super comfy fleece liner for piggies (a must-have to keep this comfy!) - there’s something for every floof!

Long-lasting: Enjoy these sturdy coroplast bases for many popcorns to come thanks to the tough correx material and their waterproof feature.

CARING INSTRUCTIONS
Kavee C&C cages can be cleaned simply and quickly with the following steps:
1. Remove your pets from the cage then scoop up any poops, dirt, and hay, and remove any other waste.
The Mezzanine is 84 x 48 cm (33,1 x 18,9 inches) when flat, and 69 x 33 x 7.5 cm (27,7 x 13,0 x 3,0 inches) when folded.
The Ramp is 57 x 17 x 7.5 cm (22,4 x 6,7 x 3,0 inches) when folded.
WARNINGS
Most animals will not chew the coroplast sheet. However, if this happens, you must immediately prevent this behaviour by covering the edge of the coroplast sheet, using our nibble guards or a cloth, cardboard or binding stick. Some animals sometimes need a little time to adapt to their new habitat and lose this bad habit after a while.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is a guinea pig loft with a ramp safe for guinea pigs?
Yes! Our guinea pig ramp and platform is designed with safety in mind, featuring a gentle, not-too-steep slope and soft edges so piggies can climb without risking back strain or slips. The platform sits at a half-height in the cage so they’re less likely to fall off or try escaping.
Is a guinea pig loft with a ramp suitable for older guinea pigs?
Many older piggies can enjoy a platform with a ramp as long as the incline is gentle. They can use the ramp without worrying about sore joints or slips.
How do I clean a guinea pig ramp and platform?
It’s really easy! Simply remove any bedding you may have on the platform section and give the coroplast surfaces a spritz with a piggy-safe cleaner or wipe them with piggy-safe wipes, such as our Wheeky Clean Cage Wipes, then let them dry before putting everything back. Because coroplast is waterproof, it wipes clean in no time and stays looking fresh.
Do guinea pigs need a ramp and platform?
Piggies don’t need a ramp and platform to be happy, but adding them is a lovely way to increase their space and enrichment, giving them somewhere new to explore and chill out. Many piggies enjoy the extra level, and it’s a great way to make the most of your cage without expanding its footprint.
Do acrylic C&C panels affect airflow or ventilation in the cage?
As the acrylic C&C panels have curved edges, there are spaces for ventilation around them so they do not affect airflow to your piggies.
