HOW TO ASSEMBLE

The assembly of Kavee C&C cages for guinea pigs is very simple. Just assemble the grids and panels together using connectors and ties. As for the plastic base in coroplast, with its pre-cut locking slots, it can easily be assembled by folding the corners and inserting the hooks in the slots. No tool or tape is required for assembly.

CARING INSTRUCTIONS

Spritz the coroplast base, grids, and panels of your cage with a pet-safe cleaner and wipe to remove any dirt.

Clean the litter tray by wiping down the surface with a cloth and a pet-safe cleaning product.

Machine wash the liner and hidey at a low temperature with a pet-safe detergent. Do not tumble dry.

CONTENT

The C&C guinea pig cage set contains white wire grid panels, clear plexiglass panels, connectors, and all the corrugated plastics required for this model.

5x2 cage: 34 modular white grids, 5 clear panels, 50 connectors, 1 grey correx base.

PRODUCT DIMENSIONS

The 5x2 C&C Guinea Pig Cage with Stand is 68,9 x 27,6 x 27,6 inches (1.75 x 0.70 x 0.70 m).

The 5x2 fleece liner is approximately 185 cm x 78 cm (73 x 31 inches) and around 2-3 cm (0.7-1.18 inches) thick.

The Mushroom Hidey House for guinea pigs is approximately 32cm tall and 27cm wide (12.5 x 10.6 inches), with a removable pee pad that is around 25cm (9.8 inches).

The Grey Litter Tray for guinea pigs is approximately 41cm x 30.5cm x 15.5cm (16.1in x 12in x 6.1in), the front is 10cm (3.9 in) tall, and the tray weighs 400g (14.1oz).

WARNINGS

The powder coating of the cage should not wear off with normal use (emptying the cage, changing the liner, your furry friends running into it). If your pet is very determined, they may chew off small parts of the coating, however, this is totally safe as it’s non-toxic.

Most animals will not chew the coroplast sheet or litter tray. If this happens, you must immediately prevent this behaviour by covering the edge of the coroplast sheet, using a cloth, cardboard, or a nibble guard. Some animals sometimes need a little time to adapt to their new habitat and lose this bad habit after a while.

We advise the use of a lid if you have young children, cats, or dogs. However, we do not guarantee the integrity of the lid in case of an attack by another animal. Never leave a dangerous animal unattended near your cage.

Avoid tumble drying or hanging your fleece over a heater. Your new fleece could shrink, leaving your pets wondering why there’s a fleece-less corner in their cage. Imagine their confused faces!
