The Nest™

Finally, a thoughtfully designed bed for guinea pigs. Too often, careful design, quality materials and considered construction are reserved for big pets. But why should dogs and cats get all the good stuff?

We knew small pet beds needed a serious overhaul. The Nest™ is our answer: a structured, padded bed designed around the way guinea pigs and small rabbits actually rest. Developed exclusively in partnership with a Japanese design house, it takes inspiration from the quiet simplicity of Japanese pet design, combining the softness of a bed with the sheltered feeling of a hideout. The result is a cosy little space to settle, nap and feel safe.

Made with premium cord fabric and a thick padded interior, The Nest™ has high surrounding walls and a low front entry, giving small pets a sense of shelter without making it difficult to hop in and out. Inside, a plush removable cushion provides a soft, supportive place to properly switch off.

And because good design needs to work for humans too, the cushion is removable and washable, making it easy to keep The Nest™ fresh and clean. Available in six considered colourways, it’s designed to fit seamlessly into the wider Kavee habitat, alongside the rest of the Essentials collection.

This isn’t another floppy fleece bed. It’s a thoughtfully constructed piece of small-pet furniture, designed around their comfort, their habits and the way they live.
